At least 20 Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leaders and activists were injured as Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) attacked them on Dhaka University (DU) campus on Tuesday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses said some BCL men from A F Rahman Hall of the university attacked the JCD leaders while they were entering the campus through the ‘Mukti O Ganatantra’ gate, leaving 20 JCD leaders and activists injured.
The newly-elected JCD DU unit went on campus to meet Vice-Chancellor Md Akteruzzaman as per the prior schedule.Bd-pratidin English/Golam Rosul
