Jagannath University Day is on Thursday. The 17th founding anniversary of Jagannath University (JnU) was started by hoisting national and university flags and rendering the national anthem.

JnU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Imdadul Hoque inaugurated the day programme by releasing pigeons as well as balloons on the campus.

Teachers and former students also took part in the rally.

In his speech, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Imdadul Hoque said this educational institution is working to make enlighten thousands of students for 170 years.
