Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said youths will build a developed nation by making them skilled through standard education and training.    

She made the remarks today while speaking at the ‘High Achievers Award 2022’ ceremony as the chief guest.

British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson, British Council Regional Exams Director Harriet Gardner, Pearson School Qualifications Vice-President Emma Howell, and British Council Director Operations Examinations Zunaid Ahmed, among others, spoke at the event. 

Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to ensure an effective and standard education in the country. She is providing financial assistance through the smartphone to the guardians of the students to expand female education. 

Students of various English medium schools, awardees, teachers and guardians were present at the ceremony.
