A total of 269,602 students across the country have secured GPA-5 in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams for 2022.

Among them, 121,156 are male students while 148,446 are female.

A total of 87.44 per cent of candidates passed this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams.

The pass rate is 88.10 per cent under nine education boards while 82.22 per cent in the equivalent Madrasah Education Board.

The results were handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at an event in the Prime Minister's Office in the afternoon.

Later, the PM unveiled the results formally.  

Some 268,495 candidates appeared in the Dakhil exams under the Madrasah Education Board while 153,662 students appeared in Dakhil vocational exams under the Technical Education Board.
