The 30th national council of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) will be held at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital tomorrow (Tuesday).
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the council at 10:30 am.
The last council of BCL was held in May 2018.In July 2018, Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon was appointed as the president of the Chhatra League and Golam Rabbani as the general secretary.
Later on January 4, 2020, Al-Nahean Khan Joy and Lekhak Bhattacharjee were made full president and general secretary respectively as Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon and Golam Rabbani were forced to step down due to various allegations.
