A student of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) reportedly committed suicide at his house early Thursday.
The deceased is Minhazul Abedin, a student of the Mathematics Department of the university and a resident of Salamatpur village of Manirampur Upazila of Jashore.
SM Saidur Rahman, Assistant Professor of the Mathematics Department of the university, said Minhajul, a student of the 2016-17 session of our department, committed suicide at his home around 3 am, reports UNB.His mother informed the matter in the morning over the phone, he said.
Minhaz was the founder president of the university’s robotics-related organization ‘Roboadda’.
