The Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations of the Chattogram Education Board, the Bangladesh Madrassah Education Board and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board started on Sunday (August 27).
More than 3.5 lakh students are taking part in the examinations.
On the first day, the examination of ICT was held at Chattogram Education Board, English First Paper at Bangladesh Madrassah Education Board and Accounting, Baking and Insurance, Economics and Chemistry were held under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.The examinations of the three boards were shifted from August 17 to August 27 due to flooding in five districts of the Chattogram division.
Earlier, the HSC examinations began simultaneously under eight general education boards in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Barishal, Dinajpur, Sylhet, Jashore and Mymensingh from August 17 in the country.
According to the education ministry, the results of all boards will be published together.
