The pass rate of the Alim examination, equivalent to HSC, is 90.75 per cent for 2023 which was 92.56 per cent last year.
The result was published on the madrasa education board website on Sunday.
A total of 98,139 students from the madrasa board appeared in the Alim examination of 2023. Of them, more than 86,000 students passed the examination.Earlier in the morning, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina published the results of the 11 education boards including madrasa and technical boards at Ganabhaban.
The average pass rate of the 11 education boards is 78.64 per cent which was 85.95 per cent in the last year.
On the other hand, the average pass of nine general education boards is 75.9 per cent.
A total of 1,067,852 lakh students from the 11 boards passed the HSC and equivalent examinations this year.
Education Minister Dipu Moni handed over the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury and chairmen of all education boards were present at that time.
Students will be able to see the results on the websites of their educational institutions and education boards. They can also check the results on mobile phones through SMS.
