Police arrested 46 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Pratidin on Saturday (August 27).                 

A total of 106 pieces of Yaba, 57 grams of heroin, 18 bottles phensedyl and 3.3 kg of hemp were seized from their possessions.

Thirty-three cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under the narcotic control act, police said.
