Two shops were gutted in a fire which broke out at a market in the city’s Gulistan area on Saturday, reports UNB.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported till filing the report.
Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defense head office, said the fire broke out at a shop in Baitusshamir Market around 5 am and engulfed an adjacent shop.On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control in an hour effort, he said.
