Police arrested 47 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drugs dealing and paddling in separate drives in last 24 hrs.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Pratidin on Sunday.                 

A total of 4,776 pieces of yaba, 610 grams of heroin, 1.255 kgs of hemp were seized from their possessions.

Twenty-nine cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under the narcotic control act, police said.
