The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested four people along with weapons for their involvement in kidnapping a Dhaka University female student and snatching her belongings in Turag, reports BSS.
The arrested people were identified as-Md Shakil Ahmed Rubel, Md Akash Sheikh, Delwar Hossain and Md Habibur Rahman.
A DB team of Uttara Division carried out a special operation in various areas of Dhaka district including the capital and arrested them on Saturday. They also recovered a foreign pistol, two rounds of bullet, a magazine, a wireless set, two motorcycles with police stickers and six stolen mobile phones from their possessions.Bd-pratidin/Ishrar Tabassum
