Police arrested 46 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Pratidin on Tuesday (September 27).                 

A total of 121 pieces of Yaba, 152 grams of heroin, 192 bottles of phensidyle, and 14 kg of hemp were seized from their possessions.

Thirty-two cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under the narcotic control act, police said.
