Police arrested 41 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Pratidin on Tuesday (October 25).                 

A total of 152 pieces of Yaba, 47 grams of heroin, 20 litres of local liquor and 63 kg of hemp were seized from their possessions. 

Twenty-five cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under the narcotic control act, police said.
