Police arrested 34 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Pratidin on Sunday (November 13).                    

A total of 12,305 pieces of Yaba, 100 grams of heroin, 4 bottles of phensidyle, and 5 kg of hemp were seized from their possessions.

Twenty-three cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under the narcotic control act, police said.
