Dhaka district BNP: Ashfaq, Nipun made president, secretary

Khandakar Abu Ashfaq and Nipun Roy Chowdhury, BNP's executive committee members, were made president and general secretary of the Dhaka district unit of the party

A press release signed by the party's senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the committee on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier, Ashfaq was the general secretary of the same unit while Nipun was the president of the South Keraniganj unit BNP.

BNP announced the partial committee of the district unit with Irfan Ibn Aman Omi, son of Dhaka city unit BNP convener Amanullah Aman as organising secretary, while Khandoker Shah Mainul Hossain Biltu as senior vice-president, Md Shamsul Islam as senior joint general secretary.
