A fire broke out at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH) in the capital’s Mohakhali on Thursday evening.
The fire originated from the third floor of the hospital around 7:18 pm, said Rashed Bin Khaled, duty officer of the fire service control room.
Two firefighting units are working to douse the fire, he added.However, the reason behind the fire incident could not be known immediately.
