Children below three feet can ride on the metro for free which is set to open tomorrow (Wednesday).
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director said this in a press conference held at Agargaon metro rail station on Tuesday.
Children below three feet will not be charged if they are accompanied by their parents. But if without a guardian they will have to pay for the ride, he added.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the country's first-ever elevated metro rail on 28 December as the much-awaited metro rail is ready for commercial operation from Uttara to Agargaon segment.
