The government has reappointed Joynal Abedin as the President's press secretary for the next six months on a contractual basis, reports BSS.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
The notification said his appointment will come into effect on January 11 next or from the date of his joining the office.Abedin was made press secretary to the President on June 8, 2015, and later appointed press secretary on April 8, 2019.
An officer of the BCS Information Cadre of the 1984 batch, Abedin discharged his duties in various important government posts during his long service life, added the notification.
