Two persons, including a woman, were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Friday, reports BSS.

One of the victims was identified as Mohammad Rabbi, 23, son of Joynal Miah of Tulatuli village under Raipura Thana, Narsingdi. The identity of the woman could not be known immediately.

He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries. Rickshaw van puller Wahid Miah received injuries and took treatment in DMCH.

In another incident near Jatrabari Chowrasta, an unidentified woman, 40, was injured seriously when she was hit by a running car around 1am on Friday. She was taken to DMCH where the on duty doctors declared her dead.

The two dead bodies were kept at DMCH for autopsy.
