A fire that broke out in Korail slum at 11 pm in Dhaka’s Banani area was doused at 11:33 pm on Thursday.

To extinguish the fire, members of five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

Rafi said, “The fire broke out at 11 pm at the slum. Being informed, three units of fire fighters reached the spot within 12 minutes and started working to control the fire.”’

No casualties were also reported in the fire incident, he said.

According to the fire service official, reason behind the fire was not known yet.
