Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has expressed deep shock at the death of Rangs Group founding chairman A Rouf Chowdhury.
In a condolence message on Saturday, Ahmed Akbar Sobhan said, “On behalf of the Bashundhara Group and me, we are deeply saddened at the death of A Rouf Chowdhury and convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.”
“I pray to Almighty Allah so that the family of the deceased can overcome this irreparable loss,” he said.“His life, ideals and acts will be a source of inspiration for our new generation. I seek salvation of the departed soul of A Rouf Chowdhury. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus,” the Bashundhara Chairman added.
After prolonged illness, the Rangs Group founding chairman breathed his last around 12:30 pm at his Gulshan residence in Dhaka on Saturday.
