Police detained 67 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Pratidin on Tuesday (June 20).                 

A total of 3,346 pieces of yaba, 209 grams of heroin, and 37.6 kg of hemp were seized from their possessions.

Forty-five cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under the narcotic control act, police said.
