A fire that broke out at the Mohammadpur Krishi Market in the city in the early hours of Thursday was brought under control around 9:25 am, reports BSS.

Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense (Operation and Maintenance) Lt Colonel Tajul Islam Chowdhury confirmed the matter.

A total of 17 units of the fire service brought the fire under control. They were joined by special teams from the Army, Navy and Air Force.
