Japan's Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Koruma Masahiro on Saturday assured that ongoing Japanese technical assistance in Bangladesh's endeavour for progress and prosperity would continue, reports UNB.

On the other hand, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam reiterated the commitment of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to uphold the democratic process.

Koruma was in Dhaka to attend the soft opening of the airport's third terminal.

He expressed his satisfaction over the recent development achievements in Bangladesh.

The two sides discussed various aspects of bilateral collaborations including that of civil aviation.
