Bangladesh Awami League pardoned Jahangir Alam, former general secretary of Gazipur city unit Awami League, said a letter sent to him from the party, reports UNB.

The letter signed by party's general secretary Obaidul Quader said the party's central executive committee announces general forgiveness to the applicants who sought apology in condition of not involving any anti-ideology and anti-organisation activities in the future.

However, any anti-ideology or anti-organisation activities in the future will be considered unforgivable, added the letter.
