A Dhaka court on Sunday placed BNP organising secretary Emran Saleh Prince on a three-day remand in a case filed with Paltan Police Station on charge of snatching a pistol and vandalising police's liberation war museum.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saiful Islam's court passed the order.
Earlier, the investigation officer of the case and sub-inspector of Paltan Police Station Farhad Matbar produced Prince before the court and pleaded seven-day remand.On the other hand, accused counsel Advocate Syed Zainul Abedin Mesbah sought cancellation of remand and bail.
Hearing the arguments of both sides, the court finally placed Prince on a three-day remand.
