Miscreants set fire to a passenger bus of Malancha Paribahan in the capital’s Gulistan around 1:00 pm on Tuesday.

On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire.

Earlier in the day, at least four people including a mother and her son were killed as three compartments of Mohanganj Express train were set on fire in the capital’s Tejgaon while BNP-Jamaat’s hartal is underway.

The Ministry of Railways formed a five-member probe committee in the incident.

The probe body has been asked to submit its report within the next five working days.
