Police arrested scam-hit e-commerce platform Alesha Mart chairman Manzur Alam Sikder from the capital’s Banani on Sunday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Gulshan Division Deputy Commissioner Rifat Rahman Shamim confirmed the matter to the media.
Police said there are over a hundred cases of fraud lodged by customers against Manzur Alam that led to his arrest and he will soon be produced before a court in Dhaka.Earlier on 25 January, a Dhaka court issued an arrest warrant against Monzur Alam.
