A fire broke out on the 10th floor of the AWR Tower near Gulshan-1 Circle in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out around 4:20 pm on the 17-storey building.
Confirming the incident, Rozina Akter, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire originated due to an air condition explosion.No casualties were reported till the filing of the report.
Six firefighting units are working to extinguish the blaze, she added.
