Dhaka's Khilgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salahuddin left the protesters’ spots showing solidarity with the students' movement.
The matter happened on Saturday in the capital.
The protestors said, “We, the students are not vindictive. We are on the streets today to demand our rights; no one is our enemy. We’re all citizens of one country. Rather, we will welcome and salute whoever will join our movement for the sake of the country.”I am telling the policemen, if you lay down your arms and join hands with the students and stand against the dictatorship, the nation will respect you more.
