A high-level business delegation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) left Dhaka for the United States to attend the 77th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as the entourage of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin is leading the delegation, said a press release from the trade body on Thursday.
Apart from attending the General Assembly, the FBCCI delegation will join various programmes to be held there.It will take part in discussions at a meeting to be organised by the US-Bangladesh Business Council.
The delegation will also take part in Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair, added the release.
