Terming Bangladesh as the best destination for investment, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi urged various countries including Japan to increase investment in the country.
He made the call on Wednesday at the 34th CEO meeting of the Asian Trade Promotion Forum (ATPF) in Dhaka.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Chairman A.H.M Ahsan presided over the meeting while senior Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghose, FBCCI President Jashim Uddin, and Japan's External Trade Organisation CEO Nobuhiko Sasaki, among others, spoke at the programme.The commerce minister hoped that the forum of 23 countries would play a supporting role to achieve economic development by providing cooperation among the member states.
