Stocks at the country’s main bourse Dhaka Stock Exchange rose on Wednesday after several falling days due to new rules of the floor price trading on the block market.
The total turnover of the day stood at Tk 468.5 crore.
DSEX, the benchmark index of the prime bourse, rose 35 points or 0.56 per cent at 6253 points.Two other indices also rose on the day. DSES, the Shariah index rose 9.36 points or 0.69 per cent and DS30, the. Bluechips shares rose 8.61 points or 0.39 per cent.
Out of the total 323 issues traded, 76 advanced, 13 declined and 234 were unchanged.
