Indian businessmen urged to invest in Bangladesh

Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak called upon Indian businessmen involved with agro-business and industrialists to invest in Bangladesh and set up mill factories here.  

He made the call at the ‘Indo-Bangladesh Agri Mechanisation Summit’ in the capital’s Bashundhara on Friday.

Mentioning that there is no alternative to the technology of safe and nutritious food for the large population, the agriculture minister said if Bangladesh and India work jointly to process and market agricultural products besides modern machinery, both countries will be benefitted.

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Kumar Verma and FBCCI president Md Jashim Uddin spoke at the summit.

Earlier, the guests inaugurated the summit and went around the stalls at the three-day summit.
