Gold price decreases by Tk 1,167 per bhori

The price of gold has been decreased in the country's market.

The price of one bhori (11.664 grams) of the best quality gold has been reduced by Tk 1,167. The price of one bhori of good quality gold is Tk 97,044.

This price has been reduced in view of the reduction in the price of acid gold (seasoned gold) in the local market. This price will be implemented from Thursday.

This information was informed in a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad, Chairman of Bajus Price Determination and Product Monitoring Standing Committee on Wednesday.

According to the notification, the price of Tejabi gold has been decreased in the local market. Considering the overall situation, Bangladesh Jewelers Association (Bajus) has fixed the new price of gold. It will be implemented from Thursday (October 5).
