Gold and jewellery traders will keep their shops closed across the country tomorrow (Sunday) marking Maha Ashtami.
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) issued a press release on Saturday in this regard.
The five-day Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Bengali Hindu community, celebration began on Friday with the unveiling of the face of the deity and Kalparambho on the day of Maha Sashthi.The festival will end on October 24 with the immersion of the idols.
