The price of gold in the local market is increased. The price of finest category or 22 carat gold has been re-fixed by increasing it by Tk 1,749 per bhori.
So, the good quality gold per bhori now costs Tk 1, 08,125.
This price has been fixed according to the price increase of acidic (Tezabi) gold, and the new price will be activated from Monday, said Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus).According to the new prices, the price of a 21 carat gold bar has been increased to Tk 1, 03, 226. Besides, the price of one 18 carat gold bar has been fixed at Tk 88, 471. And the price of traditional gold is 73, 716 taka.
