A total of 226 tons of onions arrived at Chattogram Seaport in last 48 hours (2 days).

So far, from July of 2023, a total of 2,419 tons of onions entered into the country through Chattogram port.

Chattogram port's plant control center deputy director Mohammad Shah Alam said, “A total of 226 tons of onions came through Chittagong port in the last two days, out of which 168 tons of onions came from China on Sunday, while 58 tons of onions arrived from Pakistan on Monday. Since July, 2, 419 tons of onions have been imported into the country from China and Pakistan.”
