Ghana beat S Korea in a thriller match

Ghana won against South Korea in front of a vibrant crowd at Education City Stadium in Qatar on Monday.

The result takes Ghana into second in Group H by three points.

A 10-minute spell by the African nation in the first half gave them a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu and Ajax's Mohammed Kudus, reports BBC.

Two stunning headers in three minutes from Cho Gue-sung, a top-scorer in his domestic league, levelled the game after 61 minutes.

Portugal will have six points and secure qualification for the last 16 if they beat Uruguay in the later kick-off in Qatar.

Despite their efforts, South Korea look likely to crash out of the tournament at the group stage for the third straight World Cup.
