A total of 767 Dengue patients were admitted to various hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning while three more patients died during the period.

With the new patients, this year’s Dengue caseload reaches 50,759 while the death toll reached from the mosquito-borne disease to 216.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the number of total Dengue patients in the country rose to 2,729. 

Of the new patients, 464 were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka and 303 outside it, said DGHS.

Meanwhile, the DGHS has recorded 47,814 recoveries so far this year.
