The special campaign for administering the fourth Covid vaccine dose started on Tuesday all over the country.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, people aged above 60, who have already received their third dose, will be vaccinated under this campaign.

Besides people aged above 60, front-liners and pregnant mothers will also get the fourth dose vaccine.

The vaccine will be administered at all permanent vaccine centres across the country.

Eligible people, who have taken third dose vaccine four months ago, will get the fourth dose vaccine under the campaign.

Directorate General of Health Services said a total of 15 crore people have been given the first dose of Covid vaccine while 12.5 crore people received the second dose vaccine and 6.5 crore people have been given a booster dose.
