Two more patients died of Dengue in the country in the last 24 hours till Wednesday while 14 patients were hospitalized for the deadly disease during the period.
The country recorded 281 Dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), as many as 8 Dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city and 6 patients were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka during the past 24 hours.The DGHS recorded 62,423 Dengue cases and 61,971 recoveries in the last year.
