A delegation of Bangladesh Diabetic Somiti (BADAS) called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban in the capital on Tuesday.

The delegation included BADAS President National Professor A K Azad Khan, Vice-President Dr Sarwar Ali, Secretary General Md Sayef Uddin, Joint Secretary General Professor Rashid-E-Mahbub and National Council Member National Professor Dr Mahmud Hasan.

The BADAS leaders, on behalf of their association, congratulated the Prime Minister as she has been made Global Ambassador of Diabetes recently by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).

Prime Minister's Personal Physician Professor Dr A B M Abdullah was present at that time.
