Bangladesh has logged 10 more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.

The total dengue death toll this year has risen to 303, which is the highest ever in the country. 

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday, as many as 1,069 dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city and 1,426 patients were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka during the period.

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
