Bangladesh has logged 10 more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning.

The total dengue death toll this year has risen to 313.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday, as many as 1,078 dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city and 1,686 patients were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka during the period.

The number of dengue patients reached now 9,347 across the country, said DGHS.

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
