Bangladesh has logged 14 more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.

The total dengue death toll this year has risen to 327.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday, as many as 1,119 dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city and 1,632 patients were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka during the period.

The number of dengue patients reached now 9,572 across the country, said DGHS.

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
