Bangladesh has logged 11 more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.

At the same time, a total of 2,944 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.    

The total dengue death toll this year has risen to 741 setting a new record in the country’s history.  

The number of dengue patients reached 9,816 across the country, said DGHS.         

So far, the DGHS has recorded 151,272 dengue cases and 140,715 recoveries this year.         

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
