Bangladesh has logged 14 more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.

At the same time, a total of 2,865 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.      

The total dengue death toll this year has risen to 893 setting a new record in the country’s history.

So far, the DGHS has recorded 184,717 dengue cases and 172,252 recoveries this year.

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
