Bangladesh has logged 13 more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning. 

At the same time, a total of 2,425 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.  

The number of dengue patients undergoing treatment is 8,647 across the country, said DGHS.  

The total dengue death toll this year has risen to 1,122 setting a new record in the country’s history.         

So far, the DGHS has recorded 231,204 dengue cases and 221,435 recoveries this year.

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
